Job summary

Hmixray in California is seeking a Patient Service Representative to greet and register patients, verify insurance, collect signatures and co-pays, and help ensure accurate documentation in a fast-paced radiology setting.

You will coordinate appointments, provide patient orientation for safety protocols, protect patient health information, and support the back-office team to deliver quality care. We offer comprehensive benefits and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills required.
• Strong multitasking and communication skills.
• Experience providing exceptional customer service.
• Medical terminology knowledge and radiology office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Verify insurance and patient information; collect signatures.
• Collect and log co-pays and fees.
• Answer or transfer incoming calls and manage scheduling.
• Schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments; confirm changes.
• Provide patient orientation for prep and safety protocols.
• Safeguard patient information and on-site medications; maintain policy compliance.
