Hmixray in Pasadena, CA is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join a dedicated team delivering quality care and access. You will greet and register patients, verify insurance, collect signatures, and manage documentation with accuracy while coordinating with back-office staff to ensure timely care and smooth operations.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, solid computer skills, and strong multitasking and communication abilities to provide world-class customer

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
• Strong multitasking and communication skills; experience providing exceptional customer service.
• Medical terminology knowledge and recent medical/radiology office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Obtain or verify insurance and patient information, collect signatures, ensure documentation accuracy.
• Collect and log all co-pays and fees.
• Answer or transfer incoming phone calls.
• Schedule, reschedule or cancel appointments; confirm and notify staff of changes.
• Provide patient orientation for prep and safety protocols; give directions to facilities.
• Coordinate with back-office staff for timely patient care.
• Safeguard patient property and Health Information in accordance with policies.
• Safeguard on-site medications per policy and legal requirements.
• Respect company property, including cash and patient portals.
• Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
