Optum Radiology is seeking a friendly, patient-focused Radiology Front Desk Scheduler to join our Mount Kisco, NY team. This role supports scheduling, enrollment verification, check-in/out, and records management within a fast-paced radiology environment.

The position offers a 40-hour work week with some Saturday rotation and the opportunity to work under a nationally recognized healthcare organization committed to compassionate patient care and rigorous adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of computer proficiency experience with Outlook, Excel and Word.
• 1+ years of customer service or healthcare related experience.
• Ability to abide by Optum/UHG code of conduct.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week as listed.

Responsibilities

• Obtain accurate and updated patient information (name, address, insurance).
• Perform insurance verification on the date of service.
• Schedule radiology procedures in an organized and efficient manner.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and radiology procedures and requirements.
• Check In and Check Out patients.
• Maintain and file medical records; manage referrals and schedule actions.
• Answer incoming/outgoing calls promptly and courteously.
• Comply with HIPAA and OSHA requirements; maintain patient confidentiality.
