RadNet Tehachapi is seeking a Patient Service Representative to greet and register patients, verify insurance, collect signatures, and ensure accuracy of documentation in a fast-paced radiology setting.

You will coordinate with back-office staff, answer calls, schedule appointments, provide patient orientation for safety protocols, and protect patient information and property while delivering world-class service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
• Medical terminology knowledge; radiology office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Verify insurance and patient information; collect signatures and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Collect co-pays and fees.
• Answer and transfer incoming calls.
• Schedule, reschedule or cancel appointments; confirm and notify staff of changes.
• Provide orientation for preparatory and safety protocols; give directions as needed.
• Coordinate with back-office staff for timely patient care.
• Safeguard patient information and property per policy and law.
• Safeguard on-site medications; follow company policies.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers; respect boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
