Job summary

Insight Hospital and Medical Center is seeking a Radiology Tech Aide to support patient flow in the Radiology Department and assist imaging staff with prep for procedures. The role includes greeting patients, order entry, and handling radiology reception duties to ensure smooth operations.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, strong communication skills, CPR certification, and a preference for prior patient care experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must understand directions and communicate; effective interpersonal skills.
• CPR certification is required.
• Preferred: Prior patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Clerical duties include answering phones and greeting patients upon arrival.
• Changing patients and directing them to the appropriate modality.
• Communicates delays to patients/ families.
• Assists technical staff in Radiology by performing duties associated with Radiology reception.
• Order entry.
• Performs tasks associated with the flow of patient records in Radiology and to other required locations.
• Attends to patient needs, comfort and safety.
• Interacts with staff and co-workers in a manner that promotes positive working relationships.
• Other duties as assigned.
