Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist Assistant to support patient flow within the medical imaging department. You will transfer patients, prepare them for exams, and ensure safety and privacy throughout the process.

The role requires at least a High School Diploma, with 1 year in medical imaging preferred and basic computer skills. Work is full-time on site, with routine 5 days/8 hours schedules and adherence to policy and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of experience in medical imaging preferred.
• Basic computer experience required.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients to and from units, assisting with movement and safety.
• Sets up supplies/equipment on a sterile field and assists with exam preparation.
• Assists with order entry/data processing, report retrieval, and CD burning as needed.
• Ensures patient privacy and dignity; follows departmental guidelines for patient transport.
• Maintains exam rooms, PACS processes, and documents equipment status; escalates issues as needed.
