Job summary

Agfa Radiology Solutions is seeking a Field Service Engineer to manage on-site support and maintenance of Agfa DR/imaging products at customer sites. You will drive customer satisfaction through preventive maintenance, timely troubleshooting and collaboration with the project and installation teams.

You will also support sales activities, plan installations, and provide feedback to product teams. Travel within the US and Canada is required, with an emphasis on delivering reliable imaging uptime

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a technology field is a plus.
• MCSE, Network+ and CIIP Certifications are also a plus.
• 5+ years of direct field work experience in a technical customer support role with x-ray systems.
• 2–3 years in an expert or specialist role with x-ray technology is highly desired.
• Experience with PACS, RIS and EMR is desired.
• Experience with electronic and electromechanical systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all AGFA imaging equipment in assigned territory, including troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Assist peer Field Service Engineers out of territory when needed.
• Provide feedback on technology performance and design issues to the US DR product team.
• Plan, execute and validate installations within the assigned territory with PM and Installation Team.
• Provide technical support during pre- and post-sales activities and foster customer relationships.
• Install software and hardware and perform performance analysis for DR and imaging.
