Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Associate degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or equivalent
• Five years of service engineering experience with OEM training on at least one major device
• Two years of diagnostic imaging machine repair experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to travel to various center locations
• Valid driver's license and proof of current insurance to drive for company business
• Willingness to work in evenings, on weekends and on call
• Some travel between sites; reliable transportation required

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance and calibrations on diagnostic imaging equipment within recommended guidelines
• Conduct emergency repair for imaging equipment and coordinate with vendor service as needed
• Order and source parts; assist with expediting parts orders
• Perform testing and calibration of imaging equipment regularly
• Troubleshoot diagnostic imaging equipment, including remote diagnostics
• Document preventive and corrective maintenance performed and related invoices
• Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, vendors, peers and other associates
• Communicate equipment status with radiologists, technologists and vendors
• Participate in scheduled meetings, providing updates on all imaging equipment
• May work evenings, weekends, or early mornings to minimize patient care disruption
