Description: 225 bed specialty care hospital. Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine, Rehab, Behavioral Health, Digestive Health, Bariatric Medicine & Weight Management, Women's Health, and Pediatrics. Region's premier imaging, surgery, and laboratory services. Located in the central region of Michigan's upper peninsula. Largest community in the peninsula. Home to a prominent university. Attendance policy in effect: formal warning after the second absence, termination after the third absence unless agreed otherwise. Make-up shifts are required to maintain contracted hours. The facility operates with varied shifts, usually nights from 22:00-06:00 or 18:00-06:00, with days/afternoons as needed. Number of beds: 3. Scanners include GE Revolution/Evo. EHR utilized is Cerner. Supervision provided by the unit leader. Patient population includes all age groups. Preferred experience includes being comfortable in a fast-paced environment and the ability to work independently. Common diagnoses and treatments will vary according to patient needs.
