Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Radiology - CT Tech in Petaluma, CA to join a full-service imaging team. You will perform CT scans with and without contrast, covering abdomen, chest, pelvis, and other regions, in a busy outpatient and ED setting.

The ideal candidate has ARRT CT certification, valid state compact license, BLS, and experience with adult acute care and outpatient throughput. Expect 80 exams per day and occasional float between nearby facilities; travel and holiday coverage required.

Description:Variable 4x10 days shift.The candidate will work in a moderately busy, full-service imaging department.Mainly focused on outpatient and emergency department traffic.Average about 80 exams per day for the entire department.Responsibilities include performing CT scans of various regions, both with and without contrast.Experience with abdomen, chest, pelvis, and other body parts is essential.Skills in preparation and administration of contrast media are required.Experience with portable and C-arm equipment is necessary.Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities as needed.The candidate must commit to working three of the five major holidays, including Thanksgiving and Christmas.References covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years are required.All required documentation must be submitted prior to the start date.Candidates should not contact the facility directly unless arranged for an interview.Modules are completed prior to start and during orientation, and time spent is factored into non-billable hours.
