Description:Unit has 2 beds and features Siemens Sensation 64 and GE 16 Light Speed scanners.Certifications required include BLS, ARRT-CT, ARRT-R, and a valid state license.The typical ratio is 10-20 scans depending on the shift.Evenings tend to be the busiest time.The charting system used is Cerner and McKesson PACS.Holidays follow the same hours as weekends and will work into rotation.Radiologist support is not available 24/7; Nighthawk coverage is used during night shifts.Floating is limited to a radiology floor-specific orientation.Common diagnoses and types of patients include ER patients, virtual colonography, and gated procedures.Experience with general CT procedures is expected.Cancellation policy allows the hospital to cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.
