Description:The role involves performing CT scans in an inpatient and emergency room environment.You will always work alongside another CT technologist.The department is equipped with GE scanners and Philips ICT.There are a total of 5 procedure rooms available.This includes 2 rooms located in the emergency room and 3 in the main radiology department.You may encounter varied case volumes depending on ER and inpatient demand.Approximately 25 procedures are performed daily.The position requires familiarity with Cerner EMR and PACS systems.Common cases include routine CT exams, CTA with perfusion, and trauma studies.A team of CT technologists will be present in the work area for assistance.Weekend shifts may be assigned based on the scheduling needs.Fast-paced working environment.No on-call shifts required.Floating among units is not expected.Holidays are not scheduled.One week of orientation will occur on-site.Cancellation policy allows up to 4 shift cancellations per 13-week assignment.
