Description: Conduct procedures and tests using Computerized Tomography (CT) equipment to acquire and analyze patient diagnostic data. Verify patient identification, obtain patient history, and ensure patient safety. Administer oral contrast to adult and pediatric patients according to protocols. Establish intravenous lines and administer IV contrast following safe procedures. Maintain a thorough understanding of PACS and transmit images to quality control and electronic medical records systems. Check appropriate lab values before contrast injection per protocol. Complete and modify orders in a timely manner and ensure accurate charge information. Perform tasks efficiently, maintain a clean work environment, and produce quality diagnostic images. Precept new employees and students. Review patient charts and reports for correlation. Document incidents as opportunities for improvement.
