Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Radiology - CT Tech for a 13-week night shift assignment. The CT technologist will operate CT equipment, produce high-quality cross-sectional images, and contribute to diagnostic imaging under physician and supervisor guidance.

The role requires ARRT CT certification or RT license in state of practice, BLS, and eligibility for fluoroscopy licensing.Associates degree preferred; advanced CT certification is a plus; call and weekend coverage may be required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operates CT scanner to produce cross-sectional images.
• Performs imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy.

License: Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice required

Certifications:

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT) required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per policy required
• Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment required
• Venipuncture certification required if performing venipuncture

Must-Have:

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
• Advanced Certification in the modality of CT preferred

Description:Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment.Produces cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for medical diagnosis.Performs a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for patients ranging from adolescence through geriatric.Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for interpretation.Uses PACS and teleradiology system to transfer images to the appropriate location.Maintains accurate records, files, and billing information.Ensures the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to confidentiality guidelines and regulations.Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment.Manages supply inventory effectively.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.Participation in vaccination programs may be required as a condition of employment.Compliance with required safety measures is expected.Call coverage and weekend coverage may be required.Knowledge of EMR systems and special equipment is beneficial.Scrubs provided in Caribbean Blue color.
