Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a Clinical Practice Leader (CPL) to oversee nursing practice across units, partnering with Nurse Managers to improve patient outcomes and drive evidence-based care.

The CPL will communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, lead practice changes, and mentor clinical nurses while aligning nursing goals with organizational imperatives and quality metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Science in Nursing required.
• 5+ years of clinical practice in the relevant patient population.
• Registered Nurse - PA license required.

Responsibilities

• Leverage clinical expertise to facilitate high-quality, coordinated, evidence-based nursing care through direct patient care and consultative support.
• Provide clinical coaching for nurses and other disciplines; synthesize assessment data to design, implement, and evaluate interventions.
• Advance nursing practice by leading practice changes at unit, service line, and health system levels; foster professional development through teaching and mentoring.
