Qualifications
- Bachelor of Arts or Science (Required)
- Master of Arts or Science (Required)
- Education Specialization: Nursing; Equivalent Experience: 5+ years in clinical practice with the patient population cared for in the unit/area
Responsibilities
- Leverage clinical expertise to facilitate high-quality, evidence-based nursing care.
- Advance nursing practice and improve patient outcomes at the multi-unit/service line/health system level.
- Partner with the Nurse Manager to set strategic goals for the nursing unit.
- Lead systematic quality and safety initiatives and drive change.
- Oversee delivery of a comprehensive unit-based orientation program for onboarding new nurses.
