Qualifications

• Two years recent nursing experience in Critical Care, Emergency Department, or Perioperative settings.
• PALS certification upon hire.
• Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
• Minimum six months of procedural care experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• ACLS certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement a plan of care.
• Assess, plan, intervene and advocate for patients across the continuum of care.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and readiness for discharge; revise as needed.
• Serve as role model and mentor to students and new nurses.
• Function as a Patient Care Coordinator as requested by supervisor.
