Description:This position involves working in a STEMI and stroke receiving center.The facility has four labs and operates Monday through Friday with call requirements.Call is also required on Saturdays and Sundays.Weekday call hours are from 17:30 to 07:00.Weekend and holiday call hours are from 07:00 to 07:00.The schedule includes 10 to 14 call shifts within a 42-day cycle.Responsibilities include supporting cardiac, EP, VTE thrombectomy, interventional neuro, and interventional radiology.Procedures performed may include TAVR, TMVR, Watchman, Mitraclip, and various diagnostic and interventional cardiology and neuro procedures.Stroke and interventional radiology experience is preferred, but not required for all applicants.First-time travelers are welcome to apply.Candidates should possess experience in accurate monitoring, angioplasty, cardiac ablation, stent placement, and hemodynamic monitoring, among other skills.The daily census involves adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.Interdisciplinary support may include respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services.Candidates may be expected to float between similar units as needed.Flexibility in scheduling is essential, and requests for specific time off must be submitted upfront.Failure to adhere to the schedule or refusal to float may affect the assignment.
