Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Florida. The role focuses on interventional procedures in the cath lab with 7 holding beds and daily 07:00–17:30 shifts.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of cath lab experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, and experience with PCI, TAVR, IABP/Impella.

The facility uses GE Innova, MacLab, and Meditech; self-scheduling and occasional STEMI call are part of the schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform PCI, TAVR, PFOA, Atherectomy, and other cath lab procedures
• Operate GE Innova and related equipment; document in Meditech/MacLab
• Provide patient care in a 7-bed holding unit and support scheduling and staffing
• Floating within departments as needed and participate in STEMI call routine

Description:This is a travel position for a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.The shift operates from 07:00 to 17:30.The unit consists of 7 holding beds.Patient ratios are determined based on staffing availability.The primary equipment includes GE Innova and Impella.Documentation systems used are MacLab and Meditech.Self-scheduling is available, with scheduling requirements being Monday through Friday.Stemi call is required approximately 10 to 12 days per month.Floating policies are in place within the departments.Advanced skills needed include PCI, PFO, Impella, and IABP.Procedures performed include TAVR, PFOA, Atherectomy, PCI, R/LHC, Impella/IABP, and DCCV.Surgical scrubs are provided by the facility.Candidates should be aware of department awards and any recognition the unit has received.Additionally, consider the tenure and experience of staff, schedule options, and any new equipment or technology when selecting this assignment.This facility is recognized for providing exceptional care and advanced services for critically ill patients.
