Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients for life-threatening arrhythmias and hemodynamics.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team for patient care.
• Potential float to related adult-geriatric procedures as needed.

Description:Unit details indicate a split lab with rotation between cardiac, vascular, and interventional radiology.Weekend shifts are included in the call schedule.Call is required 9 to 10 days per month.Floating within the facility and scope of practice may be needed.Full compliance is required to start on time.Travelers are expected to work during major holidays as defined.Compliance onboarding must be completed within specified timeframes.Travelers with first-time experience are accepted in the unit.Candidates must ensure they meet specific facility requirements.Duties include the management of diagnostic and interventional procedures.Candidates may float to various departments as necessary.Maintaining a sterile field and room circulation during procedures is essential.Key skills required are hemodynamic monitoring and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias.The unit serves adult and geriatric populations.Daily census is approximately 16 patients.The lab has three operating rooms available for procedures.Interdisciplinary support is part of the patient care approach.
