Qualifications

• 2-3 years of Cath Lab experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Proficient with Cardiac Cath Lab equipment (Siemens/Philips) and fluoroscopy systems.

Responsibilities

• Scrub, circulate, and monitor peripheral/vascular cases.
• Assist in right and left heart catheterizations.
• Support device scrubs and electrophysiology cases.
• On-call responsibilities include one call per week and one call Weekend every 3-4 weeks, with a 30-minute response time.
• There is no floating to other units or departments.

Description:The position is for a Cath Lab Technologist specializing in the Cardiac Cath Lab.The job involves monitoring and assisting in various cardiac procedures.Responsibilities include scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring peripheral/vascular cases.You will be involved in right and left heart catheterizations and may assist in device scrubs and electrophysiology cases.Experience with equipment such as XIM, EPIC, Pyxis, Xcelera, Siemens, and Philips fluoroscopy systems is required.Candidates must possess a valid BLS and ACLS certification.The Cath Lab has eight fluoroscopy rooms and one minimally invasive room without fluoroscopy.On-call responsibilities include one call per week and one call weekend every 3-4 weeks, with a 30-minute response time.Candidates must also be prepared to fill any vacant call not picked up.There is no floating to other units or departments.
