The Radiologic Technologist (RT) works with Medical Providers and/or Medical Assistants to examine and treat GoHealth Urgent Care patients. This role involves performing technical procedures, applying ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, analyzing patient x-rays, and reporting results to Medical Providers. Additional responsibilities include administrative support to ensure efficient operation of centers, and supporting patient care management, organization, and communication.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform x-ray services as needed, under the direction of clinical providers, ensuring correct patient positioning and safety.
• Conduct patient registration, verify insurance and eligibility, process co-pays, and schedule appointments.
• Prepare patients for examinations, conduct interviews, record medical history, and perform vital sign assessments.
• Stock supplies, maintain exam rooms, and ensure availability of medical supplies.
• Maintain medical records, answer calls, manage correspondence, and perform opening/closing duties.

Minimum Requirements

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration.
• Applicable state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid State Driver’s License.
• Pass MVR background check.
