Job Description

To perform radiographic examinations on patients referred by physicians in accordance with Radiology protocols.

Responsibilities
  • Perform radiologic examinations on patients referred by physicians, following radiologic protocols.
  • Operate routine diagnostic, operating room, and portable radiography equipment competently.
  • Evaluate radiographs for technical acceptability.
  • Work effectively in an Emergency Department setting.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned, with patient satisfaction as a primary goal.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • NY State License and registration in Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT certification in diagnostic radiology, in good standing with ASRT.
  • BLS certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience, including OR procedures and portable radiography.
  • Proficiency in fluoroscopic, portable radiology, and OR procedures.
  • Knowledge of McKesson PACs and Radiology Information Systems (RIS).
  • Experience with digital and computed radiography.
