Job summary

Montgomery College in Takoma Park/Silver Spring is seeking a full-time Allied Health Director for the Radiologic Technology program to begin January 2027. The role combines leadership, teaching, and program management within the Health Sciences Department, with a Monday–Friday schedule and one day of telework per week.

The director will drive curriculum development, accreditation activities, and strategic planning, ensuring alignment with the college's mission and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• ARRT certification in good standing.
• Maryland Radiographer License in good standing or eligibility.
• Two years teaching at the post-secondary JCERT-certified program.
• Three years clinical radiology experience.
• Three years of demonstrated leadership in an accredited program.
• Strong knowledge of JRCERT standards and outcomes assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for the Radiologic Technology program, including faculty recruitment and performance feedback.
• Lead curriculum development, assessment and accreditation activities to align goals with standards.
• Maintain documentation supporting accreditation and compliance with JRCERT standards.
• Manage program budget and instructional resources in collaboration with faculty.
• Oversee student recruitment, advising, clinical placements, and support services.
• Ensure clinical site compliance and monitor radiation safety records.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support strategic initiatives and program planning.
• Teach a limited number of courses as needed.
