Job summary

University of Hartford is seeking a Clinical/Applied Assistant Professor and Program Director of Radiologic Technology to begin January 1, 2027. The role leads the RAD program, drives curricular enhancements, and advances academic and clinical quality while teaching across the radiologic technology curriculum.

The ideal candidate will show sustained excellence in clinical/applied practice, scholarly activity, and service to communities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Radiologic Sciences, Education or related field.
• Current ARRT certification and registration in radiography.
• Current CT/MRI credentialing eligibility or ability to gain radiographer licensure in CT/MRI.
• Minimum of three years’ professional experience.
• Minimum of one year teaching experience in JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Sciences curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Teach radiologic technology courses across the curriculum as needed.
• Lead strategic planning, course planning and staffing for the RAD program.
• Oversee accreditation management and assessment of student learning outcomes.
• Advise students and contribute to recruitment and retention efforts.

Education

Master’s degree in Radiologic Sciences/Education

Graduate degree in Radiologic Sciences or related health-education field
