Job summary

CT State Community College in New Haven, CT is seeking an Assistant Professor, Program Coordinator to teach radiologic technology courses and coordinate the program. The role includes delivering up to 30 credit hours annually across lecture, hybrid, and online formats, mentoring students, and supporting curriculum development.

The candidate must hold ARRT certification with clinical radiography experience, and demonstrate excellence in communication and collaboration within a diverse academic

Qualifications

• Three (3) or more years clinical experience as Radiographer.
• Two (2) years' experience as an instructor in a JRCERT accredited Rad Tech Program.
• Current ARRT certification and registration, or equivalent, in radiography.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse backgrounds, including individuals with disabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Teach thirty (30) credit hours per academic year across lecture, hybrid, and online formats.
• Respond to students, peers, and external agencies with professional acumen.
• Develop curriculum, update instructional materials, and support program reviews and accreditation.
• Assist with program coordination tasks including recruitment, scheduling, and internship supervision.
• Contribute to professional development activities and coordinate program events.
