Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Radiologic Sciences, Education or related field.
• Current ARRT certification and registration in radiography.
• Current or ability to gain an active radiographer license in the State of Connecticut.
• Minimum of three years’ professional experience.
• Minimum of one year teaching experience in face-to-face, online, hybrid, or laboratory courses within a JRCERT -accredited Radiologic Sciences curriculum.
• Graduate degree in Radiologic Sciences, Higher Education, Healthcare Administration, or another area relevant to health professions education or practice.
• Two years documented teaching experience in a JRCERT -accredited medical imaging program.
• Experience in online, hybrid, or face-to-face teaching methodologies that reflect culturally responsive and inclusive practices.
• Evidence of effective teaching students from diverse backgrounds in an inclusive learning environment.
• Experience in mentoring and academic advising undergraduate students from diverse backgrounds in an inclusive learning environment.
• A record of professional productivity (i.e., scholarship and/or professional service) in the Radiologic Sciences.
• A demonstrated commitment to Inclusive Excellence and Belonging.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses across the radiologic technology curriculum as needed.
• Lead strategic planning, course planning and staffing for the RAD program.
• Oversee accreditation management and assessment of student learning outcomes.
• Advise students and contribute to recruitment and retention efforts.
• Demonstrate inclusive excellence in teaching and service to the campus and community.
