CT State Community College is seeking an Assistant Professor, Program Coordinator at the Manchester campus (Great Path). This tenure-track, full-time role involves teaching up to 30 credit hours per academic year in Radiologic Technology and coordinating program activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Master’s degree to be completed within 2 years of hire
  • ARRT certification in radiography required
  • Three+ years of clinical radiography experience
  • Two years of teaching in a JRCERT-accredited program
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)

Responsibilities

  • Teach up to 30 credit hours per academic year in lecture, hybrid, or online formats
  • Develop syllabi, reading lists, and ensure courses are up to date
  • Mentor students and provide academic advising
  • Assist with program reviews, accreditation activities, and curriculum development
  • Coordinate program activities, hire and evaluate faculty, and establish partnerships
  • Manage student internships and coordinate events and workshops
  • Participate in committees and professional development activities
