Job summary

Montgomery College seeks an Allied Health Director for the Radiologic Technology program in the Health Sciences Department. This full-time role in Takoma Park/Silver Spring starts January 2027, with a 8:30 am–5:00 pm schedule and telework up to 1 day per week.

The director leads curriculum, accreditation, budget, and student support while teaching a limited number of courses. The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Radiologic Technology, ARRT in good standing, Maryland license eligibility, 2 years

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in good standing.
• Maryland Radiographer License or eligibility.
• 2 years teaching in JCERT-certified program at post-secondary level.
• 3 years clinical radiology experience.
• 3 years leadership experience in accredited program or governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for the RADT program, including faculty recruitment and development.
• Lead curriculum development, assessment, and accreditation activities.
• Maintain documentation for program accreditation and compliance with JRCERT standards.
• Manage program budget and instructional resources in collaboration with key staff.
• Oversee student recruitment, admissions, orientation, advising, retention, and progression.
