Job summary

Pellissippi State Community College is seeking an Adjunct Instructor to teach Radiologic Technology, providing quality instruction in the classroom and laboratories to support student learning and a positive environment.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver courses, supervise student study, evaluate progress, and maintain documentation, with office hours scheduled as outlined in the Adjunct Faculty Handbook.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Current ARRT registration required.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach classes as assigned per course descriptions and syllabi.
• Supervise student study and learning activities.
• Submit requests for equipment, supplies, textbooks, and instructional aids through the department head or lead teacher.
• Evaluate students' academic progress.
• Demonstrate knowledge of services, regulations, and procedures per the Adjunct Faculty Handbook.
• Submit course grades and perform other administrative duties as required.
• Schedule two office hours; provide a written plan if office hours cannot be scheduled; note: office hours are not paid during summer.
