Qualifications

• Completion of a formal two-year Radiologic Technology training program.
• Certified by ARRT and valid NY X-Ray Tech license required.

Job description

Under the direction of the chief technologist or their designee, performs radiographic examinations and diagnostic imaging at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for imaging diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.

Education and Requirements:

1. Satisfactory completion of a formal two year Radiologic Technology training certified program.
2. Certified by the ARRT.
3. Valid X-Ray Tech licensed by the State of New York.
4. Minimum 1 year radiologic experience.
5. Knowledge of Radiographic exposure equipment and Epic tracking equipment.

1. Associates degree.
