Note: Position involves roughly 50% travel As aNational Radiologic Technologist Training Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of training programs for radiology technicians across various locations nationwide. Your role will involve creating standardized training curricula, conducting educational sessions, and assessing the training needs of radiology techs at different sites. You will collaborate with regional training managers, coordinate training schedules, and ensure that all training materials meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, provide feedback to improve training initiatives, and stay updated on the latest advancements in radiology technology and procedures. Strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of radiology training principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams are essential for success in this role. Job Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, education, or related field desired
  • Work Experience: 5+ years’ experience in the x-ray field
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs
  • Required Licenses/Certifications:
-American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required -Applicable state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist required -Basic Life Support (BLS) required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong knowledge of radiologic technology principles, practices, and procedures
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, DICOM, and EMR systems (EPIC/PACS)
  • Deep understanding of radiology training principles and practices
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards in radiology training

Essential Functions Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Develop training materials and resources for radiologic technologists based on industry best practices and regulatory requirements
  • Create standardized training curricula and educational materials - Conduct educational sessions and workshops for radiologic Technologists (RT’s) and Limited Techs (LMXO)
  • Assess the training needs of RT’s and LMXO at different sites and tailor training programs accordingly
  • Collaborate with regional training managers to customize training programs to meet specific regional needs
  • Ensure that all training materials meet industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Evaluate training program effectiveness and make continuous improvements based on feedback and performance metrics
  • Stay current with developments in radiologic technology and update training materials accordingly
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to Manager of School Programs, Regional Ops, and their X-ray teams
  • Follow standards and procedures and comply with legal regulations to maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment.
  • Ability to travel between locations, remote facilities, and out of town as needed.
  • May be required to perform other duties as needed.
