Schedule - Monday to Thursday, no Fridays or weekends:

  • Monday and Wednesday: 8 am to 6 pm
  • Tuesday and Thursday: 8 am to 3:30 pm

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Explain procedures and processes to patients
  • Position imaging equipment, determine exposure factors based on patient size and area involved, and adjust controls to produce quality images
  • Practice radiation safety techniques to minimize exposure
  • Perform routine and specialized diagnostic radiology procedures
  • Process and review images for quality and proper identification
  • Prepare images for radiologist review
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on radiologic equipment, arranging for repairs as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • License or temporary permit to practice Diagnostic Radiology in New York
  • ARRT certification or willingness to obtain within 180 days

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Experience with Epic EMR software
  • Orthopedic experience

For New York residents, the hourly wage ranges from $23.22 to $45.43, depending on factors like experience, education, and certifications.
