University of Rochester is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to produce high-quality X-ray images in a safe, efficient workflow. You will verify orders, position patients, and ensure accurate documentation for radiologist interpretation at our Canandaigua site.

Ideal candidates have formal radiologic technology training and NYS licensure, with ARRT CE credits. The role involves day shifts, 40 hours, and collaboration with the Imaging Penfield MRI/Ortho department.

Formación

• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares room and patient per order; positions patients and sets exposure factors to produce high-quality images.
• Verifies orders and uses patient info systems; follows dual patient identifier procedures.
• Maintains supplies and ensures images are correctly stored in PACS.
• Transports patients with assistive devices and assists with daily workflows.
• Completes studies and bills for services; may train new staff and lead daily activities.
