You will verify orders, apply proper positioning, and ensure accurate documentation and image transfer to PACS. You will work under supervision and may train junior staff.

The role requires formal Radiologic Technology training, NYS licensure, and ARRT certification with CE credits at hire. Strong anatomy knowledge and patient care are essential for quality imaging.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CRT and ARRT certifications required upon hire.
• NYS licensure required upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Prepare room and patient per order, set up equipment and determine exposure factors.
• Verify patient information and exam details in the system.
• Maintain supplies in X-ray rooms and ensure proper record keeping.
• Produce diagnostic quality images for radiologist interpretation.
• Transfer patients with assistive devices when needed.
• Perform studies safely and accurately and complete associated paperwork.
