The successful candidate will hold a NY licensure, ARRT registration, and a minimum of one year of radiologic exam experience, along with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program, required.
• New York State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, required.
• ARRT registration, required.
• Minimum of one year experience performing radiologic exams, required.
• BLS CPR certification from AHA.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patient for exam and explain procedure in layman terms as appropriate.
• Perform radiographic exams following standard procedures and SOPs.
• Position patients and adjust immobilization devices; adjust x-ray equipment and controls to obtain correct exposure.
• Monitor patient condition and report concerns to Radiologist.
• Enter patient history and exam data; maintain required documentation and logs.
• Label images correctly and ensure proper dating and patient identification.
• Perform related duties as required.
