FlexStaff is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate x-ray and related equipment, prepare patients for exams, and ensure proper labeling and archiving of radiographic images. The role requires NY licensure, ARRT registration, and at least one year of radiologic experience.

The individual will position patients, adjust immobilization devices, monitor safety, and document exam details in the daily log. BLS certification is also required.

Formación

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program is required.
• New York State Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist is required.
• ARRT registration is required.
• Minimum of one year experience performing radiologic exams is required.
• BLS through the American Heart Association is required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares patient for exam and relays information in lay terms.
• Performs various x-ray exams according to established standards and procedures.
• Positions patient and adjusts immobilization and supportive devices as needed.
• Operates x-ray equipment and monitors patient’s condition for safety.
• Records patient history and exam details; documents on daily logs and tracking forms.
• Maintains and labels radiographic images and archives data as required.
• Performs related duties as needed.
