Job summary

ChristianaCare Newark Hospital Imaging Department is hiring a WIP Radiologic Technologist to work day/evening shifts, 3 out of 4 weekends. You will perform radiographic exams, identify films, and support ED/Portables.

Required: Associates Degree in Radiology, ARRT, Delaware license, CPR, and flexible hours. Philips equipment experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Radiology Science.
• ARRT Registered Technologist and Delaware license required.
• CPR certification and flexibility in hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment with proficiency.
• Develop and identify radiographs with proper date and time.
• Cover the Emergency Department and Portables.
• Use and QC PACS/CR/DR systems.
• Operate Philips radiography equipment.

ChristianaCare's Newark Hospital Imaging Department is currently recruiting for a WIP Radiologic Technologist to work day/evening shifts 3 out of 4 weekends.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of radiographic equipment
• Developing and identifying radiographs, which includes proper identification of film, date and time
• Covering the Emergency Department (ED) &Portables
• Using and performing QC on PACS, Computed Radiography, and/or Digital Radiography Systems
• Operating the following equipment: Phillips

Requirements:

• Associates Degree in Radiology Science
• RT Technologist experience preferred
• ARRT Registered Technologist required
• Delaware license
• Certification in CPR
• Flexibility in hours and duties is required

Schedule

• WIP Days – 12 hour shifts 0700-1930
• 3 out of 4 weekends per month

Hourly Pay Range: $29.80 - $44.71 This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
