Job summary

Christiana Care Health System is seeking a Full-Time Radiologic Technologist in the Imaging Department. The role supports evenings 3p-11:30p, with full-time 40 hours per week and every 4th weekend evenings plus every other holiday.

You will perform radiographic procedures, identify radiographs correctly, and assist with ED/OR coverage while training students and QC-ing PACS and radiography systems across Philips, Siemens, Carestream, and Canon equipment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in radiology and ARRT registration are required.
• Delaware licensure and CPR certification are required.
• Flexibility in hours and duties is necessary to cover shifts and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of radiographic equipment.
• Developing and identifying radiographs with proper film identification.
• Covering the ED, OR, Surgi Center, Portables, Fluoro as needed.
• Assisting with training radiology technology students.
• Using and performing QC on PACS, Computed Radiography, and Digital Radiography Systems.
• Operating equipment from Philips, Siemens, Carestream and Canon.

Shift:

• Evenings 3p-11:30p


• Full Time 40 hours per week.


• Every 4thweekend evenings and every other holiday.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of radiographic equipment


• Developing and identifying radiographs; which includes proper identification of film, date and time


• Covering the Emergency Department (ED) OR, Surgi center, Portables, Fluoro


• Assisting with the training of radiology technology students


• Using and performing QC on PACS, Computed Radiography, and/or Digital Radiography Systems


• Operating the following equipment: Phillips, Siemens, Carestream and Canon

Requirements:

• Associates Degree in Radiology Science


• RT Technologist experience preferred


• ARRT Registered Technologist required


• Delaware license


• Certification in CPR


• Flexibility in hours and duties is required

This position pays between $34.01 - $46.76 based on relevant experience.This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
