Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking a Full Time Radiologic Technologist for the Wilmington Hospital Radiology Department. This midnight shift role requires ARRT registration, Delaware license, CPR, and flexibility in hours.

A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates. Responsibilities include operating radiographic equipment, developing radiographs, performing clerical duties, covering ED/OR/fluoro, and training students.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Radiology Science required.
• ARRT registered technologist required.
• Delaware license is required.
• CPR certification required.
• Flexibility in hours and duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment with proficiency.
• Develop and identify radiographs.
• Perform clerical and scheduling duties as needed.
• Cover the Emergency Department, OR, portables, and fluoroscopy.
• Assist with training radiology students.
• QC on PACS, CR and DR systems.
• Operate Siemens, Phillips and Ziehm equipment.
• Create burn patient CDs.

TheWilmington HospitalRadiologyDepartment is currently recruiting for a Full Time (72 hr) Radiologic Technologist to work midnight shifts with weekend and holidays as required

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of radiographic equipment

• Developing and identifying radiographs

• Performing clerical duties when necessary: receptionist and scheduling duties, completes forms on clinical, etc. and various filing duties

• Covering the Emergency Department (ED) OR, Portables, Fluoro

• Assisting with the training of radiology technology students

• Using and performing QC on PACS, Computed Radiography, and/or Digital Radiography Systems

• Operating the following equipment: Seimans, Phillips, and Ziehm

• Burn patient CD's

Requirements:

• Associates Degree in Radiology Science

• RT Technologist experience preferred

• ARRT Registered Technologist required

• Delaware license

• Certification in CPR

• Flexibility in hours and duties is required

Hourly Pay Range: $33.43 - $53.48This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
