Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join the Summit Radiology team. This 0.9 FTE, 36-hour weekly position runs from 2:30pm to 11pm, Monday through Friday, with every other Friday off, and includes on-call duties in a rotating schedule.

You will perform basic and intermediate radiographic procedures, ensure patient safety, document procedures, and collaborate with Radiologists. Wisconsin license and ARRT RT credential plus BLS within 6 months are required; no prior experience

Qualifications

• Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin and ARRT RT registration.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 6 months.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic and intermediate radiographic procedures including general diagnostic and fluoroscopic.
• Position patients and select exposure factors with radiation safety in mind.
• Identify and label images; verify orders and ensure exam accuracy.
• Enter patient and study information into RIS; document billing codes.
