Job summary

Candidates should have completed an AMA-approved radiology program, ARRT eligibility, and one year of direct patient care experience. BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Formal Radiology Technology Program completion required.
• ARRT registration or eligible within 1 year of hire.
• 1 year of direct patient care experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history on requisitions.
• Verifies patient identity before procedures.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Collaborates with radiologists and physicians.
• Selects and operates equipment and ensures proper positioning.
