WellNow Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our rapidly growing network. You will start and manage X-ray equipment, ensure patient safety, and document procedures in the EMR while supporting efficient patient flow.

Qualificações

• Mastery of x-ray procedures and protocols.
• Ability to identify anatomy and patient movement.
• Knowledge of radiology equipment safety hazards.
• AR RT certification and active state licensure.
• Experience with EMR and documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Start up and shut down all X-Ray equipment.
• Identify patient and confirm ordered examination.
• Prepare patients for radiological procedures and perform x-rays following safety procedures.
• Obtain patient history and note observations.
• Use shielding materials and protect patient and staff.
• Ensure equipment functionality and report malfunctions.
• Document radiologic procedures in EMR and assist with billing.
• Obtain pre-authorization for CT scans when needed.
• Verify exam in PACS and ensure reports are in chart.
• Clarify discrepancies with providers.
• Clean and stock the site with the team.
• Participate in quality control and assurance.
• Perform basic medical assisting and triage duties to support patient flow.
