Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA approved School of Radiology Technology and ARRT Certification.
• ARRT Certification and BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated anatomical areas with proper exposure
• Explain x-ray procedures to patients and position them accordingly
• Monitor and assist with fluoroscopic and special radiographic procedures
• Process images for quality and match with paperwork for interpretation
• Charge radiographic procedures per protocol and ensure film quality standards
• Provide education and training to DUHS radiology programs and orientation to new technologists
• Perform related duties incidental to imaging services and support career growth within the department
