Job summary

UNC Rex Holly Springs Hospital is seeking a Diagnostic Radiology team member to join a 32-hour evening schedule in Holly Springs, NC. You will work with radiologists, technologists, nurses, and other staff to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging.

The role emphasizes teamwork, patient care, and safety, with a $15,000 commitment incentive paid over three years. No prior radiology experience required; certification and registry eligibility supported.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible and register within 1 year.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of Diagnostic Radiology and adheres to protocols.
• Ensures correct patient data, saves images, and transmits to PACS.
• Performs routine radiology procedures and maintains image quality.
• Reviews orders and images for accuracy, maintains a clean, safe work area.
• Uses RIS, CIS, PACS, and SMS to access information and document status.
• Verifies patient identity, assesses condition, and ensures safety during exams.
