Job summary

Duke University Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the Holly Springs Urgent Care location. You will operate radiographic equipment, position patients, and assist with fluoroscopic procedures in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Role involves image processing, documentation, and training new staff. Candidates must have AMA‑approved radiology education and ARRT certification; BLS is required. A commitment bonus and relocation assistance are available for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA approved School of Radiology Technology and ARRT Certification.
• New graduate and experienced technologists welcome.
• BL S certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs with proper exposure per safety guidelines.
• Explain x-ray procedures to patients.
• Position patients and ensure correct views with appropriate protective equipment.
• Assist physicians during fluoroscopic and special radiographic procedures.
• Process images for quality and attach appropriate documentation.
• Manage orders per protocol and verify film quality.
• Use the Image Archival System for image management.
• Provide orientation and training to new technologists.
• Perform related duties as needed.
