Job summary

CareNow urgent care, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to provide radiology services and support patient care in a fast-paced clinic.

Requirements include ARRT certification, BLS within 30 days, and state licensure if required. At least 1 year of clinical experience is preferred. The role may require shifts and floating to other locations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services required.
• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting preferred.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist, ARRT Certification required. State licensure may be required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start required.
• Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification within 30 days of start.
• Federal Drug Screening Certification within 30 days of start.
• Within 30 days of employment or promotion, must obtain and maintain state license (if required by the state) for Office Laboratory Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic and related lab duties following license and policies, and handle front desk duties as assigned.
• Take x-ray views per provider orders and document patient records; process specimens for reference labs.
• Assist with front desk tasks: greet patients, check-in/out, end-of-day closeout, lobby records.
• Maintain, calibrate and perform daily controls on lab/x-ray equipment; report artifacts.
• Keep logs for in-house lab work, drug screens, x-rays, and send-outs; conduct equipment audits.
• Collaborate with Center Manager and clinic staff to ensure smooth operations and high patient satisfaction.
• Follow infection control and hand hygiene policies; may float to other clinic locations.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services

Registered Radiologic Technologist, ARRT Certification
