Job summary

WellNow Urgent Care seeks a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our expanding team. You will operate X-ray equipment, prepare patients, and ensure safety and accuracy in imaging procedures.

We offer a competitive hourly wage starting at $31.00, a sign-on bonus up to $10,000, no overnight shifts, generous PTO, comprehensive benefits, 401(k) with match, CME reimbursement, and growth opportunities as we expand.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or near graduation (4–6 months).
• Active ARRT certification and registration.
• State licensure as required by the state.
• Active driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Start up and shut down all X-Ray equipment.
• Identify patient and confirm the exam ordered.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and perform X-rays per safety procedures.
• Obtain detailed history from the patient and note observations.
• Use radiation protection and shielding materials.
• Ensure radiology equipment functions properly and report malfunctions.
• Complete Radiologic Procedures in EMR and bill accordingly.
• Obtain pre-authorization from insurers for CT scans.
• Confirm X-Ray exam in PACS and update patient chart.
• Clarify discrepancies in radiology readings with the provider.
• Stock and clean site; participate in quality control program.
• Assist with basic medical assisting and triage calls.
