Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a CT Technologist to provide diagnostic CT services for inpatients, outpatients, and ED patients under radiologist supervision. Key requirements include ARRT CT certification within 1 year, ARRT radiography credentials, BLS, and IL licensure.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification within 1 year of hire.
• BLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist (Illinois IEMA).
• College diploma/related field and completion certificate in Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Position patients with proper immobilization and technique.
• Use appropriate CT factors to minimize radiation while ensuring diagnostic quality.
• Perform CT angiography, 3D, MIPS, VR, and MPR reconstructions.
• Follow CT workflow: verify orders, label data, and charge for contrast media and supplies.
• Operate CT-related equipment and IV contrast administration per policy.
