Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a (JRCERT) accredited Radiologic Technology Program recognized by the ARRT.
• Strong leadership ability, good organizational skills, independent and critical thinking skills, sound judgment.
• Strong ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience.

Responsibilities

• Collects pertinent data about the patient and procedure.
• Performs radiographic imaging per radiologist direction.
• Explains procedures and obtains consent as appropriate.
• Positions patients and selects shielding/techniques.
• Sends images to PACS for interpretation by radiologist.
• Maintains equipment and keeps accurate records.
